Sengu Bold is a new edition of the Sengu Sofa system envisioned to celebrate conviviality thanks to its open, naturally inviting shapes. The new design sectional sofa boldly accentuates the Sengu Sofa’s commitment to comfort. The original Japanese-inspired wood base disappears, and its sinuous curves reach the floor. A vast, complete range of elements facilitates the creation of personalized arrangements with ergonomic seating and high-quality, eco-friendly materials. The soft cushions of the floor sofa, placed against the backrest, are padded with blown recycled PET fibre.

Patricia Urquiola
Designer Patricia Urquiola studied architecture and design at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and completed her studies at the Politecnico di Milano where she graduated under the mentorship of Achille Castiglioni. She was awarded the Golden Medal for Merits in Art in Spain and received the Cross of the Order of Isabella the Catholic. In September 2015, Patricia Urquiola was nominated as Art Director of Cassina.
